I used to think
to be a good animator
you had to work in the biggest studios.

And for a very brief moment in time
I was living the dream
Renting a 10 sqm room in London,
riding the red double-deckers with giant CAT's poster every morning
Even though I was animating tails on that movie
I loved it!

Until everything collapsed
And C0vid made me go back home

right where I started
with no idea what's next.

So I did the only thing I knew how:
Animate.

Five years later,
even though it still feels like 2020
I've made a short film
with a small team of brilliant artists
all thanks to a few people who believed in us.

And I guess the lesson is
In the end, it's not about where you are
But who you are and
what you do with it.

Feels unreal to say this, but I'll say it :)

‪@SteamrollerAnimation‬ is officially sponsoring my short film "Leap of Faith"!!!

What started as a weekend side project grew into a beast of a production,
with almost 30 people involved along the way.

I can't express how grateful I am to Jalil Sadool who showed SO SO much faith in me.
It's incredibly humbling.

I received not only resource support, but priceless and selfless guidance from Aaron Gilman (our CEO) and Amanda Renfroe (our HOD). They helped me with things I didn’t even realize I needed help with — from team management and interviewing artists to bidding strategies.

It's been hell of a ride for the past four years, and there is no way we'd make it without their support.

In the darkest and lowest moments of production, I feel really blessed to have had them.

Hope you will enjoy the film as much as we did making it.
