🎸 If you’re heading to Nashville, you will most likely have to immerse yourself in country music. Whether you like it or not, it’s everywhere… so you can’t really escape it!

We recommend a visit to the ‘Mother Church of Country music’, the Ryman Auditorium, home to the Grand Ole Opry, the longest-running radio broadcast in US history, that for over 30 years was broadcast live from the Ryman, reaching living rooms as far as Canada and launching the careers of country music legends like Hank Williams, Dolly Parton, and Johnny Cash.
Going on a self-guided tour or seeing a concert at the Ryman is an absolute must-do when you are
in Nashville.

And… because the Grand Ole Opry was so popular, in 1974 it relocated from the Ryman to a larger, more modern venue situated about 20 minutes’ drive from the original auditorium.
This is country music’s biggest stage, and watching a show there was one of the highlights of our trip. Its epic!

If you want the full list of what we think is worth your time in Nashville, our travel guide over on our channel lists our favourite things to do. Give it a look before you go! 🎸✨

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! 👻🎬 If this fall season you are rewatching Tim Burton’s weird and wonderful Beetlejuice (1988), head to East Corinth, Vermont — the real-life filming location for the movie (and its sequel).
This quiet New England village set the scene for the Maitlands’ iconic hilltop home and those hauntingly beautiful countryside views. The house itself was built just for the movie, but the rolling hills, church steeples and village are real — and absolutely breathtaking in the fall. 🍂

If you’re chasing that perfect mix of movie magic and autumn color, East Corinth is a must-stop. It feels frozen in time — just without the sandworms.
