Anyway gang, I’m a percussionist in band, and I’m going to tell you something.

IF YOU ARE IN BAND. DO. NOT. TOUCH. PERCUSSION. EQUIPMENT. UNLESS. YOU. ARE. A. PERCUSSIONIST.

We get VERY bothered, because positioning the drums perfectly, the cymbals, and where we keep our sticks is VERY important and precise.
Some of us have trouble playing our instruments in the first place, and you brainlessly banging our drums and cymbals isn’t help us keep rhythm.

We are making sure you DO NOT loose our positions or equipment, and we know how to play it, not you. You can break it if you aren’t careful.

SECOND;
NO. We are not just banging the drums, we have to know timing, and work at the same time or we sound messy. Percussion isn’t easy. Stop saying that. It takes us between 3 days-maybe a few weeks to fully learn to play together as a whole.
