I wanted to take a moment here and write out a couple of things I feel need to be conveyed.
First of all: 11 days ago, I made a personal commitment to post 1 short to social media a day. The rules I set for the content are that they have to be authentic and they cannot be something I didn't smile with personal pride at—after I finished editing. I am committed to this and am having a lot of fun doing it!
On another note: When it comes to the gadgets, messages I pass on, awarenesses I choose to raise, I won't ever be a mocking bird—no matter the benefits. There are plenty of opportunities for companies/projects out there to have content creators say exactly what they want them to say. I am not that opportunity. While I would appreciate the opportunity to be enlightened about things going on that are of concern that some might raise awareness about, given access to new firmware/software that you'd like a review for, or given a product to review, I am the one who is going to give my perspective on the subject.
Some things I say may rain on some peoples'/group's parades and upset people. To me, that seems to be the price of being creative, independent, and constructive. I accept these terms, but know that I am open-minded. I WARMLY WELCOME CHALLENGES. I will sit at the table with anyone and listen to your perspective and I will admit to being wrong if proven wrong—instead of being shamelessly silent and/or ignorant or manipulate the narrative with dishonest, psychological tactics.
This is just the beginning of my journey into becoming an influencer. Please bear with me as I fine-tune my art. I hope to bring value in many ways to my audience with the content I create and share.
