hey all! thanks for all the love on "Good To See You" - I'm at work on the next filmette called "Summer Fridays" and then will be filming a "Good To See You" spin-off in London in October.

In the meantime, I made a Patreon page as a way to focus fully on building community and making films for YouTube.

There are three levels. The first is a simple thank you and access to my film whats-app. The second is extensive BTS, directors commentaries, monthly live zoom, and a private weekly directors log. The third is an EP level for the films, you get EP credit, and tagged in the clips we post online.

Open to feedback but hope to bring more material and access to my work while being able to go deeper in on these films!

I hope everyone is enjoying the release of our filmette "Good To See You". Dropping some fun facts about the film as you watch!

6-Day Shoot, 3 Hours a Day
The entire film was shot over six days, for just three hours each day — all during golden hour in Central Park.

All Four Corners of the Park
We filmed in Central Park South, East, West, and North.

The Rainstorm Was Real
The unexpected downpour in the film wasn’t planned — it actually happened during a take. We kept rolling. My camera got wet but we used a plastic bag from a bodega to cover it.

Notes App Screenplay
The script was written entirely in the Notes app. Zero Final Draft file were harmed in the making of this film.

Shot on a Sony FX3
We used the Sony FX3, shooting at an aperture of f/16 to f/22 to keep everything in deep focus — capturing every face and passerby New Yorker. Also helped as we had no crew, and thus didn't have to pull focus.

Mic’d Ourselves with RØDE Wireless GO II
Each actor mic’d themselves before scenes. Dialogue was captured using RØDE GO II mics — simple, mobile, and effective.

Two Scenes Reshot
We reshot both the opening scene and the box-emptying scene due to a mic error and a tweak in scripting.

Real-Life Girlfriend Cameo
Jonah’s girlfriend, Molly, is the woman Jonah kisses in on the bench fantasy scene.

Sold-Out Premiere in Brooklyn
The film premiered to a sold-out crowd in Greenpoint, Brooklyn at the Film Noir Cinema.

Inspired by Fine Art
Several shots were inspired by classic paintings. Artists like Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and John Singer Sargent helped inform the film’s framing and mood.
