We are living in the golden age of Sun Ra availability. There are over 100 albums available on the bandcamp page, made from best available sources. Sun Ra LLC and The Sun Ra Music Archive have done a great job straightening out the Sun Ra discography and making it available from best sources, often with bonus material. Anyone interested in Sun Ra's music should be looking there for their primary supply.
This channel is dedicated to rare music by Sun Ra, not commercially available (and often not fit for commercial release/reissue), for hardcore Sun Ra fans. The majority of out-of-print material is up here and I'm posting a new concert each Sun-day, mostly audience tapes of varying quality. The Arkestra emits special cosmic vibrations whenever they perform and my aim is to facilitate the continued echoing of those vibrations across the omniverse. I hope that you enjoy this music. -JAV

Available now from Sam Records, high end LP reissues of Jazz by Sun Ra Vol. 1 (AKA Sun Song) and Jazz by Sun Ra Vol. 2 (AKA Sound of Joy) as originally planned for release on Transition records. Both titles ended up in the Delmark catalog and are available in various formats.

This is my newly updated and reformatted list of digitally orphaned "studio" cuts by Sun Ra and released while he was on Earth. Corrections welcome. The two exclusive tracks from Just Friends came out on the Saturn XIII 10-inch in Japan this year but remain unavailable digitally.
