Aisha (RA) narrated that she never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fast more in any month than he did in Shaban. It wasn't just a habit; it was a deep spiritual preparation.

Think of Shaban as the "Pre-Ramadan Sprint." 🏃‍♂️💨 If we wait until the first day of Ramadan to start our worship, we spend the first ten days just trying to get into the rhythm. But if we start now—following the Prophet’s ﷺ example—we hit the ground running the moment the crescent is sighted.

The Dua for sighting the moon: "Allahumma ahillahu 'alayna bil-amni wal-iman, was-salamati wal-Islam. Rabbi wa rabbuk-Allah." (O Allah, make the new moon appear with security and faith, safety and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.)
