Check out this new uke CD (various artists) that is an unplugged recreation of Springsteen’s classic ‘Born To Run’ album, titled “Born To Uke” - featuring ukulele-centric covers.


Proceeds go to Little Kids Rock - funding music education in
underprivileged public schools. Little Kids Rock is a legitimate organization that supports school music programs and provides professional development for music teachers. I've had the opportunity to work with them and they are breaking amazing ground in music education circles!!!


The CD features Grammy winners Emily Saliers (of The Indigo Girls) and Sara
Watkins (of Nickel Creek). Plus The Weepies, Will Kimbrough (Americana
Music Assoc. Instrumentalist of the year), Kai Welch (currently in
Kacey Musgraves band) and others.
