"Until we meet again." 💙 I know many of you have been asking for an update on our patient – Denise. According to her oncologists in the UK, July 2025 was expected to be her final month. Denise had been diagnosed with Stage IV terminal breast cancer, with limited curative options left in her home country. I filmed her story a few months ago. It was winter. She had come to Lithuania from the UK for a hip replacement. The surgery was performed by orthopaedic consultant Dr Aurimas Širka, PhD. After the operation, she returned home – and eventually, July arrived. And these flowers that I am holding are from her! Not delivered by courier, but handed to me by Denise herself! She is alive and well 🙏 Still, the journey has a bit of a twist. I am currently working on Denise's story part 2! Because the cancer had a mind of its own, we had to have a second surgery.
