It beautifully blends both of my worlds, Nepal and New York City, and I’m genuinely grateful for the thought and creativity that went into it.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to give you an update and thank you for understanding the delay with my videos. The past few days have been incredibly difficult. There has been so much turmoil back home in Nepal and being so far from my family has been really hard.

I feel helpless not being able to do much while my city and my people are going through so much. The only thing I can do is scroll through my phone late into the night, worrying and watching what’s happening back home. Then I get up, go to work, and try to carry on like it’s a normal day. It all feels so unreal and heavy.

If you have been following my Instagram stories, you probably already know what’s happening. If not, recently large youth led protests began in Nepal. They started peacefully, with young people demanding an end to corruption, asking for transparency, and calling for a better future. Sadly, things turned violent and watching that unfold from afar has been heartbreaking.

Thank you so much for understanding and to anyone who has checked in on me, it really means a lot. Please keep Nepal in your thoughts and prayers 🇳🇵
