Melanie Goerlitz

Melanie Goerlitz is a New York based and internationally acclaimed classical and crossover soprano. She has performed all over the world. She was most recently seen on the U.S. National Tour of a review show of movie musicals called "Hooray for Hollywood!" Other recent highlights include performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the United Nations.

After graduating with honors from Carnegie Mellon University, Melanie did a little touring and studying abroad in Italy. This experience had a great influence on all of her work to date. In addition to a musician, she considers herself a bit of a linguist, speaking 4 languages and singing in 7. Since moving to New York City, she has taken on some major projects including her first album, "Broadway After Midnight" which was recorded and produced in Poland.

She now performs regularly in New York City with various groups, including her own vintage jazz band The Bianco Martinis.
