“Keep in mind that items of knowledge are neither true nor false in themselves. Rather, they become true in people who are looking for truth and false in people who are looking for falsity. The way these people apply and use the knowledge is what brings this about. What we know is like the wealth and riches we own: If we are intent on evil, our wealth and riches are harmful because we apply them to evil purposes, but if we are intent on goodness, they are useful because we apply them to good purposes.
