Giulio Carmassi collected north of 2 million views on youtube before recording the album “Kin”, in 2014, with 20 time grammy award winner Pat Metheny.
The album won both best jazz band and best jazz album on DownBeat magazine.
On it, he can be heard on piano, brass, woodwind, mallets, voice, and cello.
While touring 42 countries with Metheny, as pianist, singer and trumpet player. Carmassi also toured with Will Lee’s band alongside Steve Gadd, on tenor sax, trumpet, organ, guitar, vocals and percussion.
Since 2016 he’s started scoring movies with Bryan Scary.
The 2 have scored nearly 100 national commercials and more recently the movie “Black Bear” with Aubrey Plaza, and the 2022 Outfest winner “Please Baby Please” with Andrea Riseborough.
His latest record “A Dream of The House by The Cliff” is a romantic instrumental journey into his love for 70s music.
