About Six Acres Homestead
Empty nesters on our third year of our homestead journey.
We moved to East Texas after selling our suburban home of 15 years with the goal of a simpler and more self sufficient life.
We share our evolving daily life as we level up our homestead skills - growing & raising our own, farm to table cooking, sourdough experience, caring for the land, and raising farm animals - goats, chickens, geese.
Learn with us, celebrate with us, and at times struggle with us as we follow God's calling to be good stewards of the land and strive to provide a legacy for our son.
