I can’t believe it’s that time of year again, but Olexamas starts in just two weeks!

With that, we’ll be hosting our Olexamas art competition for the art that will be the cover for the month.

The rules are simple, has to be 16x9 and has to have something somewhere in the art where snow can fall. (ie. A window, it’s outside, something) (I do a transparent snow video over it in videos and streams) Last year’s winner can be seen here!

Submissions can be made to my Discord, which you can find linked in the description of any video, and in the comments of this, pinned.

First place will get $50 and two steam keys, second place will get three steam keys, and third place will get two steam key. (I’ve got a bunch of roguelikes and indie games to give away)

If you haven’t been a part of Olexamas before, this is a month long charity event where we’re raising money for Extra Life charity, an organization that helps to support children’s hospitals in the US. We support a local children’s miracle networks hospital close to me and over the last few years have raised over $25,000 for them.

I’m hoping to make this year another incredible year, so I’ve got fun content, streams, game giveaways and more (👀) planned!

Hey hey! Little update before I pass out in my bed. Appreciate all of the support on the channel this past month!

I kinda feel like I haven't been hitting the stride I'm normally moving at, less energy in my videos, less confidence, etc. The reality is, a lot of that comes down to losing some extra time each week due to some 'return to office' policies at my IRL work (yes, I don't do YouTube full time) taking away some time now that I'm commuting to and from and don't have lunches for getting work done, but I've also just simply been busy IRL. I haven't been able to truly focus mentally and physically on the YouTube space, and as much as I hate to admit it, there's probably a bit of burnout in there as well. It's been a long year so far on a lot of different fronts, but YouTube has been a constant positive for us this year. It's been an amazing year on the channel and I'm really doing everything in my power to ensure we finish the year strong.

I promise I still got some really big plans still for the next few weeks, a chunk of Olexa Looks (some sponsored some not), a bunch of fun video ideas (multiplayer, etc.), and am starting to plan some stuff for Olexamas 2025, our month long charity event in December.

Plz have a little patience with me, and I'll keep making it worth your while soon!
