History Seekers is where metal detecting and real history meet. I am Heath Jones, leading a small team as we hunt Civil War relics, coins, buttons, bottles, gold, and lost artifacts at old home sites, battlefields, ghost towns, and forgotten graveyards.
We combine metal detecting, relic hunting, and research to show not just what we find, but the stories behind it. If you love metal detecting, treasure hunting, American history, and uncovering what others missed, you are in the right place.
Visit HistorySeekers.net, where I sell metal detectors and accessories and help detectorists choose the right machine, fine-tune their settings, and get more finds in the field.

We had a bear encounter while metal detecting for gold! He was a big boy on the hill across from us. He was about 435 yards away and this is a very zoomed in photo. Even at what seems like a safe distance he can sprint for over a mile at 35 mph! That means he could have been to us in 25 seconds should he decided to come say hello!!!! The next morning we found where he came over to check where we had been digging.

Quick check-in from Alaska!
YouTube has always been our secondary platform, while Facebook is the big one where we’re closing in on 600,000 followers and hit about 33 million views in the last 28 days. Some of you also spotted us on the Microsoft platform. We’re proud they invited us to join while it’s still invite only.
We’re filming in Alaska for two weeks and we’re committed to giving this channel the attention it deserves. I focused on Facebook for years, and when Kelly got sick, videos were the last thing on my mind. Before she passed, she asked me to bring this channel back. So here we are.
I’m sharing a few Alaska photos here, and I’ll post them on Facebook too for those who watch over there. You’ll also see a screenshot of our last 28 days on our main platform (mainly for the jealous haters). Views are lower here because I rarely uploaded. That will change.
If you’re with us, tap subscribe, ring the bell, and tell me what you want to see from Alaska. Thanks for supporting us and for keeping this community a good place to be.

Apparently our fan base is big in Alaska! Our flight attendant Kimberly from our ATL to Seattle watches our videos in fb. Then our gate Agent Myla on the Anchorage to Nome flight watches our videos and recognized us from the YT channel.
You Alaska folks are the best! We are looking forward to getting these next two week. Amber and Debbie tell me they are just bored 🤣🤣🤣

On my way to Alaska in search of Wyatt Earp relics! Yes, he was in Alaska at one point in his life. We are on the trail and hope to have some amazing for you. Thank you to all of our new subscribers who also watch on Facebook (almost to 600k there) and our new platform Microsoft. We appreciate Microsoft approaching us wanting to post our content. What an honor on the invite only platform!

We released our Elvis Twin investigation recently. Our next case? Wyatt Earp. Lawman. Gambler. Legend.
Next week, History Seekers is heading to the wilds of Alaska to investigate a gold claim that locals say was won by Earp himself—in a poker game more than a century ago.
Rumor has it, he even lived in a remote cabin on the property. We’ll be searching for gold on his claim, exploring the cabin site, and hunting for relics that could prove the story true.
Will we find traces of Earp’s time here—or maybe even something he left behind?
Stay tuned… this is one legendary hunt you won’t want to miss.

Wow! You guys are watching us a lot on the big screen TVs! I know it is harder to comment but we appreciate it just the same. Since there are so many fake channels out there these days we thought we would share what real channel stats look like. Funny how some channels will not show these...
This is from our last video that had over 200k views. Almost 70% of you are watching on TV.
