Hey guys! I'm about to take on Celeste's toughest challenge... Farewell! (same time as usual- every Sunday 8pm AEST!) And to spice things up, I'll be doing it with a challenge, Dougdoug style! (see the pinned image- yes I've coded everything)

But I need YOUR help...

I don't think my usual stream layout is fit for a challenge as spectacular as the one I'll be attempting. That's why I'm looking for suggestions. The main feedback I'm looking for is the following:

1. Does this layout look appealing?
2. What do you think about the colour and font of the challenge text? (taking recommendations too!)
3. Anything else I should add/remove/change?

Feel free to discuss other aspects, I'll be taking listening to all of them and taking it on board. But I really want this to be the best series of streams possible!

So please, if you've got a second, I'd love it if you could answer the questions in this message in the comments. Thanks everyone!

That chess tournament I mentioned will be starting in about 2 hours! I think I'll run the 1st as a 30-minute tournament with 5 minute, 2 second increment time control (but I reckon this isn't enough time so I'll probably change it for the second)

Hey guys! I'd love to run a small chess tournament if anyone's interested in participating (we have a few takers in Discord already).

I was looking for chess tournament options and it looks like the easiest option is Lichess' arena tournaments (you just play as many games as possible within a set time). If anyone has any other alternatives please let me know and I will consider them (especially if you're able to find a FREE regular tournament bracket system?), otherwise if you are interested in playing make sure you make an account with them before the tournament date!

Tentatively I would love to host this on 19th (Saturday, 8pm AEST). We'll probably run 1-2 , 30 minute tournaments (so short stream) and I'll just spectate random games within the tournament (maybe play in one as well?). The tournament WON'T be standard format! So maybe practice the other chess variants available on Lichess as well 🙂
