the paper mario comment thread animatic is on indefinite hiatus, i am currently focusing on other things due to an interest shift among other things.

hellooooo im gonna start updating more frequently on the animatic here instead of just updating my comments on the original cr1tikal vid!! i feel like itll be easier to show my progress this way lol.
some current notes:
- the animatic will have some animated parts, im fully self-taught with animation so ill probably end up posting animation tests for feedback.
- im working on like 2 other personal projects right now so i cannot guarantee a release date for the animatic, im aiming to have it finished before the end of 2023. just know im trying to give equal attention to this, a short story, and two game scripts. i may or may not also post other (smaller) animatics before this for fun and to share my ocs!
- with all of that being said, i am working on mr haters entrance in terms of thumbnailing, and i have a bit of the end finished!
- most of the characters have two designs, and the animatic will take place in The Church of Paper Mario.
- im thinking about having the backing soundtrack be entirely paper mario songs (mostly from sticker star and colour splash but i also want to add spm music since spm is my favourite paper mario game).
- the only character i will not be hand-drawing will be metal mario. metal mario is going to be whatever official pngs i can find. i just think itd be funny.
- i plan to post art, trailers, etc before posting the actual animatic! art will consist of thumbnail pages, character busts/sheets, key frames, and gifs.
- i plan to divide the full animatic into seven episodes/chapters and then post a supercut afterwards (this is an estimate, if it ends up being shorter/longer i will try to work around the length accordingly).
- the script is roughly 30 pages and is barely edited from the original comment thread. edits were made primarily for contextual reasons (ex. changing mentions of comment threads to work as a face-to-face situation).

oh fuck i can make posts and so forth. anyway do u guys want me to post concept art for the paper mario comment thread animatic?? if so what would you rather see?? idk how many people subbed to me for the animatic so im trying to gauge interest :]
