Spill down blessings from above,
surround a truth or lie.
Move through the noise of proof—
life will prove it.

Promise with light forever,
while each lie is a wound.
Stay with me unbroken,
life will prove it.

Moment to moment enduring,
lies and rumors pierce my soul.
Our hearts tear the record—
time will prove it.

When a lie can’t be hidden, and both hearts feel the cut. No escape, no forgiveness—just the silence that follows knowing.

Who are you to me?
What do I mean to you?
What truth pulls us together?
What want tries to bind our hearts?

How do I know if this is you,
or an intertwined lie for belief?
How does this represent truth —
is this a lie you are telling?

Betrayers of truth we’ve become;
what can forever bring then?
Daily placation or jubilation —
triumphant in the chasing game.

Nearing the end with guilt, shame,
or loving forever the goal.
No pretense, no lie —
arms wide open — safety, home.
