What a truly truly special weekend seeing many of the best AAPI hoopers all together. 1st year of JLIN NextGen Camp in the books. The future is bright, the game is in good hands!
It brought me so much joy to share what I’ve learned over the years. From the jump, Thomas Batties, Justin Huang, Ryan Agarwal, Myles Che Vanessa De Jesus, Ashley Chea, Laila Phelia, Talia Von Oelhoffen, @weilunzhao, Sumayah Sugapong, Annika Shah showed up hungry to work and eager to learn. The way they approached the game, the conversations we had, and the energy they brought made this experience special. And they reminded me about the beauty and purity of bball.
Much love to @simuliuofficial and Clement Chu for continuing to lead the way, and to all the celebs and athletes who take time out of their schedules to show up and hoop for a cause. Shoutout @Mcjin for blessing the court with a halftime performance that had the whole crowd locked in 🔥

So many memories from this first NextGen Camp…
could’ve used a couple more practices with Laila & Vanessa tbh lol.
Half-court challenge was crazy, Sumayah and Vanessa hit back-to-back and Sumayah took the crown.
Loved being able to sit down in a small setting and share some of the stuff I wish I knew back in college…
@teamesface brought the energy (and their AAU squad) and gave our girls some real competition.
Justin caught me off guard with a dunk outta nowhere.
@tobehanson had everyone hurting in the best way with workouts we’d never seen before, pushing these athletes to new levels.
Team dinner just good food, good people & good conversations.
@Progressivemotionptherapy keeping me and our athletes healthy and moving, really appreciate their tailored work with each player.
Graham’s mindset session in the early mornings, was only able to sit through half of it but it shifts how you see the game and yourself.
Annika going 35/40 from three was crazy to witness.
This past weekend was special. Grateful to all the athletes who trusted us with their time and to everyone who poured into making this possible.
