The SUMSQ function is used to calculate the sum of the squares of a range of cells. The syntax for the function is: =SUMSQ(range) where range is the range of cells to be squared and summed. For example, if the range of cells to be squared is A1:A5, the formula to calculate the sum of the squares would be =SUMSQ(A1:A5), or by selecting only one cell it provides the above result.
