His new book is out now in Hardback and Audio book - "The Fate of the Day: The War for America, Fort Ticonderoga to Charleston, 1777-1780" (Revolution Trilogy, 2).

With a premiere tomorrow morning - and in 7 parts over the next 7 days - we are publishing probably the single most influential documentary series to us - a series I first watched as a young pre-teen in the mid-1980s on PBS and it has stuck with me ever since. Watching the Gwynne Dyer series "War" almost 40 years ago sparked my interest in military history and was a direct influence on the creation of this channel.

It took years to track down the best possible version of the series and we are presenting it here for everyone's education and enlightenment. It's a product of its time - the early 1980s Cold War era - but the themes and quality of the writing and story-telling are time-less. We hope you can check out the series in its entirety over the next week.

Because of the subject matter, YT is killing us with restrictions, but we are soldiering on - we think this documentary is too important not to share. If you can spare a donation or "super" to help support our efforts, we would be eternally grateful!
