Please please please turn the “stable volume” setting off when watching my videos. In the app it’s under “settings” and “additional settings”. Was driving me crazy that snares especially would randomly sound out of balance and harsh on YT but not on my original video. This is why.

Just an FYI, tomorrow I’m going into the hospital to have some pretty major cancer surgery and will be in there for a couple weeks recovering.

I still have tons of footage from Dayton but that won’t likely be up for another month or so. But I will get to it eventually.

Special thanks to the staffs at Infinity, Rhythm X and Monarch for allowing myself and my fellow Lot Bois Robert Martinez, Sergio Bravo, John Soto and Ben Wilson to have access to their rehearsal space, especially while they’re deep in that Dayton grind working so hard to improve as much as possible the final week.

Also wanted to mention that, for iPhone users, there’s a weird glitch with 4K60 HDR videos (which is almost every video from this season) where YouTube caps the playback at 480/60 HDR. Doesn’t seem to affect other devices btw. I wasn’t aware of this until I got home. Will avoid uploading in HDR until they fix the issue.

Already got my flight and hotel booked for Indy. And SoCal drum corps shows are only 2 months away. LFG
