Changing Times – Unchanging Values

Recently, a major controversy has emerged in society around dress codes, especially concerning women. This debate has created noise, strong opinions, and emotional reactions from different sections of the community.

The reality is that our society is currently in a transition phase.

The older generation grew up with a fixed cultural framework.
The younger generation is growing up in a completely globalized, interconnected world.
Between them is the generation aged roughly 30 to 50 — caught between tradition and change.

This middle generation is often confused. They understand the values of their parents, but they also see the realities of their children’s world. Deciding what is “right” or “wrong” becomes difficult because many of these changes are entirely new to them. This confusion is not a failure — it is a natural outcome of rapid social change.

Globalization, education, social media, and exposure to different cultures have transformed the way the new generation thinks and lives. Dress is only one visible part of this transformation.

However, an important truth must be acknowledged:
Nothing has changed except the dress.

Women today may dress differently, but their devotion, values, and responsibilities have not diminished. In many cases, they have grown stronger. Faith does not reside in clothing. Culture does not disappear with modern attire. Character is shaped by values, not by appearance.

It is also essential to be honest about another reality. Social issues such as violence, harassment, and sexual crimes do not occur because of clothing. They arise from failures in mindset, ethics, and accountability. Blaming dress is an easy distraction, but it does not address the root cause.

Women remain the pillars of society. Their freedom and dignity must be protected. At the same time, society must mature enough to accept change without fear and without misplaced blame.

The younger generation is more open to diversity and expression. The older generation may take time to accept it. During this period, disagreement, noise, and resistance are inevitable. This is not decline — it is the turbulence of transition.

With time, balance will emerge.
Dress will remain a personal choice.
Values will remain the foundation.

The real challenge is not adapting to new appearances, but ensuring that respect, safety, and moral responsibility evolve along with freedom.

Changing times are unavoidable.

ఇటీవల సమాజంలో ఒక పెద్ద చర్చ జరుగుతోంది.
అది దుస్తులపై. ముఖ్యంగా మహిళల దుస్తులపై.

ప్రపంచీకరణ (Globalisation), సోషల్ మీడియా, చదువు, ఉద్యోగాలు — ఇవన్నీ కొత్త తరాన్ని వేగంగా మార్చుతున్నాయి.
దుస్తులు కూడా ఆ మార్పులో ఒక భాగం మాత్రమే.

కానీ ఒక ముఖ్యమైన నిజం ఏమిటంటే —
దుస్తులు మారాయి, కానీ మనసులు మారలేదు.

ఈరోజు మనం చూస్తున్నాం:
కొత్త తరంలోని మహిళలు ఆధునికంగా దుస్తులు ధరిస్తున్నారు.

సమాజంలో పెరుగుతున్న అసహనం, హింస, నేరాలు — ఇవన్నీ దుస్తుల వల్ల కావు.
అవి ఆలోచనల లోపం, నైతిక విద్య లోపం, సంవేదనల లోపం వల్ల వస్తాయి.

దుస్తులను నిందించడం సులభం.
కానీ సమస్య అక్కడ లేదు.

మహిళలు సమాజానికి పునాది స్తంభాలు.
వాళ్లు స్వేచ్ఛగా ఉండాలి.
అదే సమయంలో సమాజం కూడా బాధ్యతగా మారాలి.

కొత్త తరం అన్నిటినీ అంగీకరిస్తుంది.
పాత తరం కొంతకాలం అంగీకరించలేకపోవచ్చు.
ఈ మధ్యకాలంలో శబ్దం, వివాదం, అసహనం ఎక్కువగా కనిపిస్తుంది.

కాలం గడిచే కొద్దీ సమతుల్యత వస్తుంది.
దుస్తులు ఒక విషయం మాత్రమే.

Unshaken Faith

In a small village, there lived a boy from a middle-class family. His life was never easy. From childhood, he faced many struggles, hardships, and obstacles. Poverty, limitations, and uncertainty followed him at every stage of life.

Yet, one thing in him never changed—his belief in God.

Whether he was angry or joyful, whether life treated him kindly or harshly, he always believed in God. He prayed continuously. He was not extraordinary. He achieved no great fame or success. His life remained simple and ordinary. Years passed like this.

One day, a question arose in his heart.

“I always try to live correctly. I never harm anyone. I believe in God and pray sincerely. Then why does my life remain so ordinary?”

He found no answer. Still, his faith did not weaken.

One day, he made a firm decision—to go alone on a pilgrimage to Srisailam.

He was unfamiliar with the route. Carrying only a map, he began his journey. For a few days, everything went smoothly. But one evening, he became confused and took the wrong path. Soon, he realized he was lost. Darkness began to fall, and fear slowly crept into his heart.

Suddenly, he saw a group of men coming toward him.

Relief filled his heart. He felt happy and thought, “God has sent help.” He approached them and asked for guidance. The men appeared very kind and helpful. They suggested a route, offered him food and water, and spoke gently. Trusting them completely, the boy rested for a while and then continued his journey on the path they showed.

After walking some distance, he suddenly reached a large river. There was no way forward. The only option seemed to be going back. As he turned around, he saw the same group of men coming along the same route. He felt relieved again.

But suddenly, he heard loud shouts behind him.

What he heard froze his blood.

The men were man-eaters. They were talking about killing a man and eating him alive. Then, they began discussing the boy.

“We are lucky today,” they said. “We will have a big meal.”

The boy was terrified. He could not run. He could not fight. He stood still, helpless. At that moment, he did the only thing he knew—he prayed to God with all his heart.

Standing near the river, he decided,
“Even if today is my last day, I will trust God.”

The group shouted at him to stop. But the boy stepped into the water. The water level was low, and slowly, with fear and faith together, he crossed the river.

At the same time, far upstream, heavy rains were pouring down.

Near the riverbank, there was a mud wall standing at the edge, barely holding itself together. Then something unexpected happened.

A small ant cut a leaf and dropped it into the water.

Carried by the waves, the leaf struck the weak wall.

The wall collapsed.

A powerful flood rushed down violently.

Just after the boy crossed the river, the man-eaters entered the water. The sudden flood swept them all away instantly. None of them survived.

The boy did not look back. He continued chanting God’s name and walked forward. He safely reached Srisailam, visited the temple, and prayed deeply, thanking God for saving his life.

He never knew how it happened.
He did not know about the ant, the leaf, the wall, or the flood.

He only knew one thing—

God helped him.

The boy returned to his life, which remained simple and ordinary. But his faith became stronger than ever. He continued praying, with complete surrender and belief.

ఆకలిగా ఉందని తెలిసి, ఆహారం, నీళ్లు కూడా ఇచ్చారు.

వారిని చూసి అతను పూర్తిగా నమ్మేశాడు.

కొద్దిసేపు విశ్రాంతి తీసుకుని, వారు చెప్పిన దారిలో ప్రయాణం మొదలుపెట్టాడు. కొంత దూరం వెళ్లాక అకస్మాత్తుగా అతని ముందుకు ఒక పెద్ద నది వచ్చింది. ముందుకు వెళ్లే మార్గం లేదు. వెనక్కి తిరగడమే మార్గం అనిపించింది.

వెనక్కి తిరిగి వస్తుండగా, మళ్లీ ఆ మనుషులే కనిపించారు.
అతను చాలా ఆనందపడ్డాడు.

కానీ అచ్చం అదే క్షణంలో —
వారి మధ్య నుంచి వచ్చిన ఒక భయంకరమైన అరుపు అతని గుండెను గడ్డకట్టించింది.

వారు ఏమంటున్నారో అతనికి వినిపించింది.
“ఇవాళ మనకు గొప్ప భోజనం దొరికింది.”
అక్కడే ఒక మనిషిని చంపి, తినడం గురించి వారు మాట్లాడుకుంటున్నారు.

అతనికి అర్థమైంది.
వారు మనుష్యభక్షకులు.

ఇప్పుడు వారి మాటల్లో తన గురించీ ఉంది.
“ఈ బాలుడు కూడా మన అదృష్టమే” అని నవ్వుకుంటున్నారు.

భయం అతన్ని కదలకుండా చేసింది. పరుగెత్తలేడు. పోరాడలేడు.
ఆ క్షణంలో అతనికి గుర్తొచ్చింది ఒక్కటే.

దేవుడు.

నది పక్కనే నిలబడి, కన్నీళ్లతో, మనసులోనే ప్రార్థించాడు.
“దేవుడా… ఇది నా చివరి రోజు అయినా సరే… నీ నామం నా పెదవులపై ఉండాలి.”

వారు అతన్ని ఆపమని అరుస్తున్నారు.
కానీ అతను నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నాడు.
“చావు వస్తే రావాలి.”

నీటిలోకి దిగాడు.
నీరు తక్కువగా ఉంది. నెమ్మదిగా నదిని దాటాడు.

అచ్చం అదే సమయంలో —
నది పైభాగంలో భారీ వర్షాలు కురుస్తున్నాయి.

నది అంచున ఉన్న ఒక మట్టి గోడ, అంచున నిలబడి ఉంది. ఇంకా పడిపోలేదు.
అప్పుడే —
ఒక చిన్న చీమ ఒక ఆకు ముక్కను కోసి నీటిలో వదిలింది.

ఆ చిన్న ఆకు నీటి ప్రవాహంతో గోడను తాకింది.

అది ఒక అద్భుతం.
ఆ గోడ ఒక్కసారిగా కూలిపోయింది.
భారీ వరద ఉప్పొంగింది.

బాలుడు నది దాటిన క్షణంలోనే —
ఆ మనుష్యభక్షకులు నదిలోకి అడుగుపెట్టారు.

వరద ఉధృతంగా వచ్చి వారందరినీ కొట్టుకుపోయింది.
అందరూ అక్కడికక్కడే మరణించారు.

బాలుడు వెనక్కి తిరిగి చూడలేదు.
అతని నోట్లో నిరంతరం దేవుని నామం.
ఏమీ తెలియనట్టే, ప్రయాణం కొనసాగించాడు.

యుగ-సమాంతర భూమి సిద్ధాంతం


ఇప్పుడు మీ ఉద్దేశాన్ని నేను స్పష్టంగా అర్థం చేసుకున్నాను.
