I'm not talking about dropping the f-bomb for the sake of being polarising.
But for the reason of being more natural and authentic in the way you communicate.
For example, if you get to know me and we become friends, then the degree to which I swear goes up dramatically 😅.
During my journey to become more authentic in videos, I find myself wondering if this is something we should start doing more?
Now, I was in hospitality for 15 years and developed a professional persona that is hard to let go of.
Add that to an American audience that don't (normally) swear as much as us brits, and YouTube being funny with swearing in general, it's something I avoided.
However, YouTube has recently relaxed a bit on swearing, so long as it's not in the first 30 seconds and moderate in use.
And I've seen many creators swear more and grow just fine.
So the question is, how do you feel about swearing in videos? Would it put you off?
Do you swear in your videos? Or would you like to?
