I metal detect a variety of sites: fields, schools, tot lots, city owned & private home sites/properties. 3 metal detectors used: Minelab Equinox 800 which I enjoy immensely. If you're on the fence about buying one please use my videos to help make a decision. I usually say/show the VDI/Target ID numbers in videos. I also use the Garrett AT Pro and AT Max.

Trash site digs are at older home sites. Relics are researched, along with bottles, coins, buttons, marbles, etc. I've found 100s of buttons & marbles! I incorporate metal detecting into these videos to sniff out the finds after I dig out an area- useful at sites with a lot of iron after they have been shoveled & raked.
