Sunday is the perfect time for a reset! ❤️

The unexpected break down of my vehicle had my week all discombobulated so I need a little more time to get this week's video together. I'm hoping for tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest. Thank you all for understanding. 😊

If you missed the post about my car drama go check it out. The repairs were outrageous so we did end up having to buy a new vehicle. After a lot of research, taking y'alls suggestions to heart (thank you for that), and many test drives I got a Hyundai Palisade. It is being shipped so I'll get it later this week. I'm really excited to share her with you!

I'm working on my fall decorating and you get a small sneak peak in the last picture. I took a $1.99 Goodwill brass bowl from drab and crusty to WOW! It is front in center on my entryway table. What do you think of it?

This AI rendering sums it all up. 😅 Y'all I pick a car I love and drive it until I can't anymore. I've only had two vehicles in the last 22 years!

Saturday I was headed to a baby shower several hours away with my husband and oldest son when the breaks went out on my car. I'm so thankful that Hubby was driving and I wasn't stranded by myself. Rural Texas is a great place to live but sure doesn't offer any auto services on the weekend. My car is thirteen years old so it is at a point where fixing it might cost more than it's worth. It has been such a good vehicle without any major issues until now.

As I consider a new vehicle I'd love for you to weigh in if you've downsized from a full size SUV to a mid size SUV and how hard that transition was! For the past 22 years I've driven a Nissan Armada and Infiniti QX56. Big, full size, mom cars that I loved because I can see up over traffic and have plenty of room for passengers and road trips. But I might be willing to consider something a little smaller like a Kia Telluride or Hyundai Palisade. Definitely staying with a three row SUV of some kind.
