Hey friends! We are one week away from Thanksgiving. What are we having to eat? If you need help with cooking your turkey check out this video of mine! Don't forget to plan time for your turkey to thaw properly too.
Story time: I was thrown into making my first Thanksgiving dinner start to finish when I was only 12! My mom got sick with the flu but had already bought everything to host. As the oldest daughter I was of course nominated to make sure dinner still went off without a hitch. That was when I started perfecting the art of hosting and cooking a full Thanksgiving meal. I made turkey, ham, dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, salad, yeast rolls, pecan pie, Waldorf salad, and who knows what else for a house full of guests while my mom stayed in bed and answered the hundreds of questions I had. That Thanksgiving awoke my love for cooking and baking, hosting and entertaining, and all things homemaking. XO - Lesa
