Last night sure was interesting, I (FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES) took 700mg of Benadryl and went in with this with a hoity-toity additude. About 30 minutes in the effects got really noticable, I was quite fine with the hallucinations, but the one thing that really scared me was the respitory depression, numbing and racing of the heart as I already have some kind of pre-existing non-diagnosed apnea and heart problems, so I ended up trying to get myself to vomit 45 minutes or so later but I had to ram my fingers down my throat multiple times as Benadry supresses vomitnig.
The hallucinations mostly consisted of black, red and white spots in my vision when I looked around, increased visual snow and eye floaters, any speck of dust or black on the carpet/walls "crawled" towards me and the cycle restarted when I would blink, hallucinations of gnats flying at me, of bugs crawling up the baseboard molding, black shadows of spiders peeking out from the cracks of doors, the carpet moving in seemingly geometric patterns and see-through spiders crawling along it that dissapeared when I would blink, rib or ripple-like patterns on the wall that would again dissapear when I lost focus of them and audial hallucinations that would be generated from white noise such as fans and went away when I plugged my ears.
I noticed a general loss of interest in technology, entertainment and information, disorentation and disorganized thoughts which couldnt arrange themselves and my skin/veins seemed to turn red, there is still noticable effects a nearly a day later but not nearly of the intensity of last night. Luckily, I thought to ground myself a lot more than what the idiots that usually do this do but I was still surprised about how much is took me down. It was odd that I was seemingly repelled from screens/interaction/music or anything that could potentially calm me down though, it almost forced me to look at the horrors and was probably the worst mental symtom.
I also got a high-piched voice auditory hallucination that simply said "Idiot", which was probably one of the only coherent ones besides quiet ones of my parents and sometimes other voices calling out to me, which luckily I knew werent real, the other ones were incoherent, mostly of an older male voice but a few times a younger male or female voice when I was trying to sleep. One thing I also noticed is that I heard constant banging noises like someone was using a hammer downstairs but they disappeared when I went out my door, they were about the realest-seeming hallucinations but I still know they werent real because they constantly repeating much too many times to be real. One thing I did find funny though is that I was looking at the packaging while hallucinating and this was DPH for sleep so it said "Nighttime" But I kept hallucinating that it said "Nightmare".
