After a snowy start in Louisville, there’s a lot going on this January!

Only one major orchestra performance this month, but it’s a big one. The Louisville Orchestra is performing Strauss’ Alpine Symphony on January 17th and 18th and will be joined by Midori on the first half for Sibelius’ Violin Concerto. I used to think Alpine was a once in a lifetime piece, but this is now my third time performing it!I’ll also be starting my second semester teaching at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, as well as teaching a masterclass at Eastern Kentucky University. At the end of the month I’ll travel to University of Central Arkansas for a brief residency, giving lectures, masterclasses, and participating in their high brass workshop.

Hope to see y’all at some of these events, and stay warm if you’re stuck in this snowstorm.
