If your knowledge bank is too small for the goals you’re chasing, you’ve only got two options:
1. Make time to learn. Deal with the gaps first, then level up with the skills that move you closer to your goals.
2. Hire the help. If you don’t have the time, invest in someone who already knows how.
You can’t just wish your way into growth. At some point you have to decide am I going to make time or buy back time?

If I had to start all over again with my decision to move abroad, here’s what I’d do…
1. I’d take more time to identify the places that actually fit my lifestyle, not just the ones that look good on Instagram. Real life abroad is about alignment, not just aesthetics.
Since leaving the US, I've removed and added in some places that I'd love to visit including places in the US that I've been wanting to visit.
2. I’d have deeper conversations with locals and other expats early on. Their insights are gold and can shortcut your learning curve in ways Google never will.
3. I’d use systems and mentors to guide my process, instead of trying to figure everything out solo. The right structure saves time, money, and a lot of headaches.
This is my view from my balcony in Playa Del Carmen Mexico. I probably wouldn’t change this though 🤣
