I'm Nigel, this channel follows my search and considerations for my first EV, solar panels and battery storage .

Having tested a few Electric cars, I'm smitten. I wanted to go Electric , not for the environment, but for me.
The appeal of smooth , comfortable & quiet driving is addictive. Along with instant & impressive torque EVs appeal to my senses.
It is all about the sensation for me. How it feels.
I think the take up of EVs will grow massively once people realise it's not all about being green or responsible, even though that's nice too.
Doing the right thing is good.
My videos reflect my thoughts, choices and frustrations, not fact. Always do your own research and consult appropriate professionals.

After reading comments on my recent video it seems it's really common for people to run extension leads from their car to their house, especially at peak times
Presumably multiple extension leads to reach multiple rooms too🫣
I think I got it wrong not appreciating how many people have poor grid connections and are happy tripping over extension leads
Maybe it's a good thing as it'll lead to more home battery installs😉

Forgot to include our battery update in this months update video..
Blue SOC % showing 11 days where we didn't charge up to 100% and just 2 days where we dropped below 50%
Plenty of capacity
Some very low battery use days highlighted by the thinner blue sections where SOC didn't vary much.
