I've met with James Joyce at Trieste, where he had written large parts of 'Ulysses'. He was a bit stiff and not very talkative. Perhaps it was because of his formal attire despite the 36°C heat. At Trieste, you can also visit some of the places where the Joyce lived, and there is a small Joyce museum (no fee), also with rooms dedicated to other writers who lived and worked at Trieste (Italo Svevo, Umberto Saba). Worth a visit!
I am a bit behind with the English and Italian version of Episode 3, due to my vacation, but I'll catch up soon!

As a small consolation, here are a few impressions from a fantastic Tolkien exhibition I visited last week in Catania, Sicily. The photos show a desk from his study, a portrait (oil painting) of Tolkien, the sculpture of a cave troll and some costumes from the legendary film adaptation

Mitch vom Kanal @The Pringle 100 , mein Co-Pilot beim Ulysses-Projekt, hat nun ebenfalls die zweite Vorbereitungsstufe gezündet und sein Video zum Matthäus-Evangelium veröffentlicht. Eine deutlich persönlichere und wunderbar als Ergänzung geeignete Betrachtung. Und nicht so langatmig-schwatzhaft wie ich sondern knackig in 11 Minuten. Unbedingt 'reinschauen!

Cari amici, scusate, sono un po' in ritardo. La realizzazione del secondo video preparatorio nel contesto del nostro progetto Ulisse (il video sulla Bibbia) richiede più tempo. Il video in tedesco è già online e dura più di 2 ore 😅. Per questo ho bisogno di un po' più di tempo per la realizzazione della versione italiana (e inglese). Spero che il video italiano sarà online domani sera. Grazie per la vostra pazienza.
