Very important update about the channel (probably warrants a video but idk)

The content is changing, slightly. You will still see the souls/roguelike stuff, as I genuinely like these game genres a lot. Nightreign has done a SHIT ton for me in terms of raw metrics and audiences I would’ve never thought I’d reach so quickly, and I feel like it’s at least warranted to still provide content in these genres for yall.

Is this the right move? Not sure. Cuz yes I do like playing other games. But for now, I need to place my foot somewhere and this seems like it makes the most sense while being fulfilling to me. What does this mean for other games I like to play?


I’ve decided to post them here. I’ll give it 2-3 videos, however, unfortunately YouTube is a game you have to play. So if the audience may not resonate with it, then I’ll stop posting long videos of them and stick to shorts.

HOWEVER

This leads to where that will go for people who want to watch it. In comes my second channel ‪@NotxalkBN‬ . I’ve had this channel inactive for about a year since I didn’t know what to do with it.

Originally it was focused on fighting games, but now, if there’s a game/series you guys want to see still, simply let me know In the comments of those videos and I’ll put it on ‪@NotxalkBN‬ for your continued viewing. I think it’s unfair you should have the content u watch unfairly stripped away, so I’ll try my best to keep uploading them there, alongside fighting content.

This is a LOT to ask from one person you might be thinking. Maybe it is. But I’m genuinely delusional when it comes to me thinking about how successful I’ll be in content and my life in general, so I have no doubt it will work itself out one way or another.

Whether that’s me hiring an editor to help (I got NO budget so idk how that’s working out but we’ll see lmfao), or once a week on that channel. Who knows. But this is a company move lol and you’re all hopefully apart of it.

SECOND MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT

Alongside souls/roguelike stuff, I want to upload more about my life. This is probably hurting my channel in the short term, but I’ll improve the content style, editing, pacing, all that jazz u like in the videos you watch.

I’m very committed to making this work, as I want my videos to be something fulfilling to the viewer, something they can genuinely walk away with thinking “wow, I felt that, I learned something” or “that can help me in my own life”.

I do NOT want to support the generic content slop of huge streamers nowadays. The loud, boisterous, void of substance slop. I want to commit to something larger than myself and I aim to ultimately inspire those to be creative, take risks and challenge themselves and societal expectation.

Therefore…

I will be posting content that genuinely interests/inspires me outside of souls/roguelike stuff. And will probably circle the drain of movies/arts/music/life experiences (like the talk show video).

It may seem like I’m being dramatic, it it’s only because I care heavily about this and what we (yes me AND you) have built on the channel thus far. I hope you’re ready because these upcoming months will be the best content I’ve made thus far.

TLDR: second channel ‪@NotxalkBN‬ for content that underperforms here (like pokemon videos). Making content on irl/creative arts alongside souls and roguelike content.

Also going to Italy for the whole summer to shoot a dark souls movie, so Italians standby for my arrival

Bloodborne is confirmed to have an animated film about it being co produced by jacksepticeye. I’ll make a video later today about it, I’ll share some movie insights about it being that I’m in film school so u guys can get a better idea of what could happen :)

For those interested in souls content, bear with me as I’m kinda figuring out exactly what to do when there’s droughts in souls content. Uploading on pokemon since I have an autistic amount of knowledge about the game, but don’t fret. I’ll make a video soon detailing how the channel will be moving forward now that nightreign literally killed itself. Ironically that is probably the best thing it could’ve done for my sake, as I get to recontextualize my content for yall.

TLDR, Pokemon content for now in this souls game drought, but souls content and irl content otw sooner than later (will probably focus on souls and irl content moving forward for this channel but I fw pokemon heavy so 🤷‍♂️)

Haven’t disappeared on you guys, but in case people don’t know, currently working on my thesis film to graduate college and hosting a tv show (that will air in 2 weeks on YouTube so u guys can watch :). I can share some footage for the movie after I start shooting in April (2nd - 7th), but for the meantime my time is like so scarce 😭 with that being said I’ll try to squeeze in some shorts/livestreams when I can.

But no guarantees, this month will most likely be dry for content. Will try my best to get crimson desert stuff out tho. As soon as April 7th passes we should be back 🫡
