⚠️ANNOUNCEMENT; PLEASE READ⚠️

The trajectory of my channel has changed. A new era of content has begun, thanks to a little video game, #MarvelRivals.

This year, I will be focusing most of my energy onto #Marvel... with a twist! Marvel Rivals has opened the market up for opportunities to approach the music of the #MCU in a fresh new way.

Allow me to elaborate on how and why I chose this plan:

1. Marvel Rivals allows experimentation with themes of the #MarvelCinematicUniverse with a new face. For too long, I'd been hesitant to play with the themes I love from Marvel, due to some (superior) creators doing so in a similar light. However, pulling two variants (get it?) together will enable revisitation with beloved scores without adhering to the strategies of those that have preceded me.

What if I want to make a Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff theme remix? Creators like ‪@samuelkimmusic‬ and ‪@KrutikovMusic‬ have done so in the past, albeit with visual assets from the likes of "WandaVision" and "Doctor Strange & the Multiverse of Madness"; two pieces of media that have (possibly) fallen out of favour with the YouTube algorithm due to their runs ending. With Marvel Rivals receiving constant updates, it'll remain a constant search term, potentially gaining a better relationship with YouTube's current climate. Using skins and wallpapers from the game, I am able to re-do Wanda's theme under a new light!

2. Associating and listening to the MCU themes of certain characters may enhance the gaming experience. Many playable characters in Marvel Rivals have debuted in the MCU with their own unique theme music. My versions aim to be tailor-fit to the experience of playing the character to which that theme is assigned to. Imagine playing #SpiderMan in the game while an extended remix of his themes play in the background!

3. Marvel Rivals offers the opportunity to re-introduce certain theme music to the public. With the character of #Ultron being introduced into Rivals, releasing a remix of his MCU theme simultaneously with his game debut could prove to be beneficial for both producer and consumers of content alike! This alludes to my previous point on how listening to the film version character's themes could enhance the gaming experience.

4. New content leads to more opportunities on streaming platforms. Services like #Spotify have immensely helped the growth of this channel; creating new content specifically for streaming platforms shows potential in engagement and expansion. Most players may be accessing their music directly from their gaming console or PC anyway; to be more easily accessible for more immersive gameplay could drive a boost in listens, streams, and saves!

So, what does this mean for the future of the channel? #Transformers fans, fear not! I am still going to be an active member of the fandom and will deliver remixes of our beloved soundtrack every now and then. However, it is time to approach new, uncharted territories! I am very excited to begin this journey and I thank you all for the continuous support.
