Right, we’ve got a new project coming out of headquarters.
We’re calling it PROJECT 1998.
The idea is fairly simple: we’re going back through albums that received 1998 remasters and bringing those remastered versions to the channel, one track at a time.
And for the first project, we’re starting with a rather important one.
*Iron Maiden's POWERSLAVE, released in 1984!*
From August 24th to August 31st, 2026, we’ll be posting the entire Powerslave album using the 1998 remastered versions.
We’ll be starting tomorrow with “Aces High”, then working our way through the album each day until the whole record has been posted.

August 25 — Aces High
August 26 — 2 Minutes to Midnight
August 27 — Losfer Words (Big ’Orra)
August 28 — Flash of the Blade
August 29 — The Duellists
August 30 — Back in the Village
August 31 — Powerslave
September 1 — Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Eight days. Eight tracks. One album.
The idea behind PROJECT 1998 is to give these remastered releases their own place on the channel, with each track being posted individually rather than simply throwing the whole album up at once.
The archive department has been digging through the shelves, the audio department has been checking the discs, and management has been standing around pretending it has a management department.
PROJECT 1998 begins tomorrow.

Up the Irons, everyone!
We’ve been putting in plenty of hours lately diving deep into the classic catalog, tweaking mixes, cutting fresh radio edits, and giving songs like Tailgunner and Senjutsu a proper, punchy remaster. For us, it’s all about honoring the raw energy of these tracks while giving them a slightly different edge for the modern speakers.
We want to give a massive thank you to everyone who’s been giving the short previews and full tracks a spin. Seeing the response on the Tailgunner mix especially lets us know we’re on the right track.
