Hey :) I’m Jess - a travel photographer, filmmaker, and storyteller on a journey to live with more intention and creative freedom. I left California after a breakup and boarded a one-way flight to Bali, not entirely sure what would come next. This channel began as a way to document that shift...through cinematic travel films, honest reflections, and stories from the road. The places might change but the heart of this channel remains the same: slowing down, exploring reinvention, and living with more presence. Hey everyone, I'm working on getting a new video out soon! I've been feeling a little sick lately so it's going slower than expected. In the meantime, here are some photos that I took from the Blood Moon lunar eclipse that happened in Bali earlier this week! The energy has felt extra intense lately. Have you felt it?
And for my fellow photographers out there, these photos were taken on my Sony A7IV with a 70-180mm lens. Settings for the blood moon were: 1/3 sec at f/6.3 ISO 640 shot at 180mm and then cropped significantly in post. Wish I would've had my 200-600mm lens for this, but it's back in California! So I just worked with the gear I had.
