I do not understand why Spurs fans are so delusional about a manager who hasn't shown any indication that there is a plan on the defensive concepts on how to play against certain teams. The conflating of facts to defend this manager is reaching pandemic proportion. This is not a conversation about Daniel Levy in a micro environment created by the display we see on the pitch. The big picture, the macro position, is Daniel Levy's ultimate responsibilities for every inch of the club business, including football, all its other ventures, and, yes, hiring managers. Again, as Spurs fans, don't feel unique. The chairman is the last to go, no matter how many managers he is going to sack. Facts. Deal with it. So, without getting in the weeds of the situation, or Levy's overarching responsibilities as pointed out by Savva, Heritage TV. We need to focus on the manager and whether he is up for the job. While I am not here to call for the manager being fired, his reluctance, stubbornness, or just naive in his own abilities to cope with the demand of the premier league will sort that out. He either gets it right by adaptation or he is going to find himself out when the losses begin to pile up. We are in the business of winning, and that should be the only metric at this level. When someone asked Pep why he was never fired as manager. He never point to how many trophies he won. He simply said, "I am always winning." Draw your own conclusion. This manager has been backed whether they are the players we as fans wanted or not. The facts are Ange said that on accepting the job, he was very clear with Daniel Levy. These are his boundaries and requests, including what players he retained. Ange has been very heavily involved in the recruitment. Therefore, the youth movements in lieu of getting senior players to build on the ones he inherited or improve on the position of last year as a rebuild is all him. His option based on the players' signed signals this was a project and not a rebuilt. So, while I do not want to be the arbiter of any fans support. We all must conclude Ange has not proven that lack of backing is not the reason for the Inconsistency, and in my opinion more to do with his abilities or lack thereof to prepare on a match by match basis for the opposition. Ange, not the players are fans will decide his fate. I have been a loyal fan of Tottenham Hotspurs for 46 yeThs, and the only permanent are the fans. Thanks for indulging. We should take the high road when necessary. When we do that, we create a better platform to be able to show and receive respect.
