I always dreamed of owning a farm and now I own one. The Tractor Farm has a 2.5 acer garden. I do every task I can with power equipment, tractors are the heart of the operation. I have chosen this method for health reasons. I'm 58 years old, have Diabetes and I want to eat healthy and get more exercise. To operate such a large garden without the mechanical advantage of a tractor would require employees. In past years most of the weeding was done by hand, I was overwhelmed. This year we introduced several weeding implements to aid in the prosses. Watch the video's to learn from my experience and mistakes or just come along for the entertainment. If you like what you see subscribe and leave a comment. If God wills I will document the entire season.

My text for God Fest I will be speaking on Wednesday January 5th on the God Fest Channel. My working Title: How Cam A Man Keep His Way Pure.

Psalm 51:1 Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.
5 Surely I was sinful at birth,
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;
you taught me wisdom in that secret place.

7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins
and blot out all my iniquity.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
so that sinners will turn back to you.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
you who are God my Savior,
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
15 Open my lips, Lord,
and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 My sacrifice, O God, is[b] a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise. (NIV)

Luke 2: 25 And there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was righteous and devout, looking forward to the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. 27 And he came [p]by the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to carry out for Him the custom of the Law, 28 then he took Him in his arms, and blessed God, and said, 29 “Now, Lord, You are letting Your bond-servant depart in peace, According to Your word; 30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation, 31 Which You have prepared in the presence of all the peoples: 32 A light for revelation for the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”

Why do I Believe the Bible? First it is the word of God. Actually, that's the only reason. The real question is why I trust modern Translations. A complex question, I can only begin to answer here. First, it's God's word I expect He has taken precautions to keep it pure even in the hands of sinful man. Second, we have an abundance of translations in hundreds of languages, and they all say the same thing in essence. OfCourse there are some translations that were written and changed to support a false teaching. These are fairly easy to spot because they were created by a group that denies the deity of Christ. Third, the Lord sent us a councilor the Holy Spirit. When we let the Spirit guide us we will come to the truth even if the words have been changed. The true believer will be led by the Spirit to sound doctrine.

I listen to what the Bible says about itself and am convinced that it is God's truth. It is too important to ignore. First Romans 10: 17 So faith  from hearing, and hearing by the word [a]So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me empty,Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding  for which I sent it.

Isaiah 13: 9 See, the day of the Lord is coming
—a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—
to make the land desolate
and destroy the sinners within it.
10 The stars of heaven and their constellations
will not show their light.
The rising sun will be darkened
and the moon will not give its light.
11 I will punish the world for its evil,
the wicked for their sins.
I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty
and will humble the pride of the ruthless.
12 I will make people scarcer than pure gold,
more rare than the gold of Ophir.

Now tell me again how God loves you just the way you are.
Matthew 24:44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. Go with God my friends, Chicken Johnny.

There is a movement within the church where pastors are teaching people to demand that god give them what they deserve. If you follow this teaching, you will get exactly what you deserve. Psalm 37: 4 Take delight in the Lord, and He will give the desires of your heart.  2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.   Go with God my friends Chicken Johnny

I started the day a little shaky. My blood sugar was at 59ppdl about 40 ppdl lower than my usual low. I have dealt with the effects of of type two diabetes for 16 years. The disease has changed my life, for the better. It has made me more disciplined, more in tune with my body and overall healthier. I have had people say that if I truly trust God and ask Him, He will heal me.

Imagine that a world where God choses to afflict me with a chronic ailment one that actually built my character and improved my life (I admit there are many effects of Diabetes that are negative) and instead of saying thank you, I said take it away, This should be the way we look at everything. We get upset because the line at the store is too long. The price of gas is too high. Or we have a life threatening illness. I know to the lost world this sounds ridiculous, we who trust Him fully find Him fully true.

God may choose to heal me of my diabetes and I will rejoice, for now He has given me a thorn in my side. I am grateful that He has found me strong enough to cope with that thorn.

2 Corinthians 12: 9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

All of you are dealing with trial God is making you and using you for His purpose and His honor. My prayer for you is not health and wealth, it is instead that you may feel the hand of God holding you up when all around you is in chaos. Psalm 55: 22 Cast your burden upon the LORD, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. James 5: 11 Behold, we count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.
Have a marvelous day, Chicken Johnny
