I’ve been thinking about the theme of unified voices in Scripture. It’s interesting that people can come together “with one accord” for God’s purpose, but also against it (Acts 7:57). Both appear in moments connected with judgment.

During the discussion under the Jericho teaching, @aromatix5741 brought up an interesting question that was a little outside the scope of the video, so I thought it would make for a good discussion here:
“Who did God intend to kill in Exodus 4:24?”
Most people immediately assume Moses, but the text itself never directly says it. And when you follow the covenant context surrounding circumcision, the situation may not be as straightforward as people think.

What do you think is the biggest reason Scripture gets twisted so often today?
Is it taking verses out of context? Reading traditions into the text? Ignoring audience relevance and covenant context? Relying too heavily on word studies without the flow of Scripture? Or something else entirely?
