1. Johnson & Johnson ($JNJ) - Healthcare, 62 years dividends, high liquidity
2. Coca-Cola ($KO) - Consumer staples, 62 years, massive volume
3. Procter & Gamble ($PG) - Stable consumer, 68 years, tight spreads
4. Target ($TGT) - Retail volatility, 57 years, decent premium
5. Lowe's ($LOW) - Home improvement, 61 years, good option activity
Why these work for covered calls:
- Dividend King status (50+ years of increases)
- High options liquidity (tight bid-ask spreads)
- Stable businesses you'd actually want to own
- Mix of stability (JNJ, KO, PG) + volatility (TGT, LOW)

Back in late June 2025, I launched a small account challenge to show how the Ark Options Strategy works even with just $5,000.
No margin, no crazy risk. Just slow, patient stacking using cash-secured puts and covered calls.
Fast forward to today, mid-October, and here’s where I stand:
🟢 $631.08 in total premium collected
🟢 12.62% return on capital in about 3.5 months
🟢 15 trades placed, with over half closed early for profit
🟢 0 losses realized
Stocks traded: SOFI, CPB, SNAP, FVRR, KVUE, KHC, AAL.
Some were rolled, a couple got assigned, and two were called away all part of the strategy.
Every trade had a defined plan going in.
Here’s the big lesson:
You don’t need a huge account to build real momentum with options. You need patience, consistency, and a system that protects your downside.
