This video will explain what the LSST is and why it's exciting. The Vera C. Rubin Observatory, located in Chile, has started a 10-year project called the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST). It will take pictures of the entire southern sky every few nights, creating a huge movie of the universe. This could help us learn more about dark matter, dark energy, and even find new asteroids that might come close to Earth. Since it achieved first light on June 23, 2025, and full operations are underway, it's a big moment for space exploration. Check out the video for more details!
