For those who don’t know why the El Paso concert got delayed and why people are calling it a mess, this is what I’ve been seeing and feeling about the situation.

FIRST, the behavior from some fans was really not okay. BTS’s hotel location getting out and people actually going there is already crossing a line. That’s their private space. They’re human too—they need rest without feeling watched all the time.

What scared me more is the throwing stuff on stage part. Like… this isn’t just “bad behavior,” it can actually be dangerous. I still remember when that one person (a jikook shipper) said they would throw acid on Taehyung—it went viral back then. Even many of us reported about that to hybe, but still things like that stay in our mind. So when people start throwing things at concerts, how are we supposed to feel safe about it? This isn’t funny or normal.

Then there’s the crowd situation. The concert was delayed because so many people were still outside trying to get in. I also saw people saying that some entered without tickets because there were multiple gates and it wasn’t managed properly. If that’s true, it explains why everything felt so out of control.
And even after it started, some fans were still pushing limits—moving into other sections, trying to get closer, recording at the cost of others’ experience. It just made everything more chaotic.

Honestly, this whole situation just feels wrong. Supporting BTS shouldn’t look like this. There’s a difference between loving an artist and making them uncomfortable or unsafe.

We really need to do better and BEHAVE.
