Hello, I'm Aneta! Originally from Poland and now living in northern Italy, I'm an artist and illustrator behind Rampant Hare, where I create whimsical, fantasy-inspired artworks. While I enjoy working with digital tools like Procreate, my heart truly belongs to traditional media - especially watercolor, gouache, acrylic inks, and occasionally, oil paints. On this channel, I share my creative process and the passion that drives my art. Join me as I explore the world of both traditional and digital art!

I’ve got flowy lines in my eyes that just won’t go away! 😆 Working on a new piece and video, and I’m really happy with how this project is shaping up. Let’s say I’m about 75% done. There are still some awkward elements I need to refine/define/add but it’s coming together.

This will be one of three larger pieces I planned for my living area, and I’ll be juggling them alongside smaller works. At this point, even A3 feels small!

I originally wanted to use watercolors for this one… but, well, I’ll share the full story in an upcoming video, whenever that may be. The world moves too fast these days, and honestly, that stresses me out. Some things just need time…

On November 11, 2024, in the afternoon, we said goodbye to our beautiful and beloved Yume, just shy of her 11th month. She came into our home with many insecurities. We respected her, loved her, and in return, she opened her heart to us. She taught me to notice the little things, to be patient. Yume was filled with elegance; even in her final moments, she fought to keep her dignity. She never broke a thing, always moving gracefully among our belongings. She would wait for me to come home, watching from the window. Now, she has left an emptiness in our hearts. We miss you, Yume.

I've been working on a video that's new territory for me, and I have to admit, it's making me a bit nervous. It's going to be a sketchbook tour, showcasing my drawings from 2021 to 2024. The video will be about an hour long, and I really hope you enjoy it.

I can't tell you how much I love watching sketchbook videos and how many hours I've spent on YouTube learning from them. They always inspire me and help me feel more confident about my own art. Now, it's my turn to give back to the sketchbook community.

So, mark your calendars! The video goes live today, August 13, 2024, at 17:00 Central European Time. For those in the U.S., that's 8:00 AM on the West Coast and 11:00 AM on the East Coast. Stay tuned!
