Hark and Well Met Folks!

I've never made a YT update post before, so hopefully this works... I just wanted to give a quick summer update as I'm currently in one of my biggest long-form content upload gaps in a while and wanted to explain for the folks who basically only see my stuff on here.

As it is summer, I am in the throes of archaeology fieldwork season which means I haven't slept in my own bed in about a month lol. Unfortunately, this also coincided with a critical laptop failure (the machine is 8 years old and is barely holding onto life support) which has made streaming and editing from hotels impossible. I have a new full-time gig kicking off in the next couple of weeks and have a new machine picked out so hopefully I'll be back on the mobile content train once that paycheck drops hahah.

As a teaser, my next video is going to be a new one for me- an interview vid with a fellow archaeologist I met on a job who is also an expert Flintknapper! Flintknapping is the process of making stone tools such as arrow/spear heads, axes/celts, and more. It was a pretty fun video that I poured my blood and sweat into to make (literally!). I've also been playing Tears of the Kingdom and am ENTHRALLED by the pervasive archaeological themes, so expect some fun stuff around that game coming this season as well.

I appreciate you all very much for sticking around and enjoying the goofy Shorts I can get out in the meantime. There's plenty more Archaeogaming content coming to yall soon!
