So the new "liberate the platinum" mission is getting some attention for being too hard. Y'all, this is what I have been praying for. I wanted arrowhead to give us a challenge that took coordination and effort to overcome, and they gave it to us. But, games like helldivers should probably not be balanced solely around players like me. So what do y'all think of the new missions and their difficulty level?

If y'all think this is too hard, I feel inclined to make a video on how to beat it. The commandos and I have figured out some tricks.

Just a quick update for y'all on my plans. I'm still putting out an older helldivers video this week, I just don't have time to cover any of the new stuff before I leave town on a trip.

Next week I'll be working on my battlefield 6 and DRG videos. Once all of that is done, I'm jumping both feet back into helldivers. I am so excited to play again, but I really want to try my hand at a covering other games. I need to learn from the experience so the next time helldivers hits a lull, I can broaden my horizons.

But I think my first "new" video on helldivers will be about "The Best Primaries If You Suck At Aiming". Gotta show my baby, the plasma punisher, some love.

I can't speak for everyone, but most of the technical issues seem to be fixed on my end. And the balance pass feels incredible.

Since helldivers is currently…broken. I think now might be a good time to try out some different content on the channel. It’s just been demoralizing trying to record footage, only to run into frame rate issues, crashes, and hard locks. I want my content to be fun and about enjoying games with your friends while learning something new, and I just can’t do that until these tech issues are fixed. I have a couple of helldiver videos ready to publish, but after that I’ll be pausing helldivers content until the tech issues are in a better spot.



So which games would y’all like me to cover? I love co-op games like Darktide and Space Marine, but I’m also itching to dive into Battlefield since it's such a teamplay oriented game. If you picked “other” let me know what y’all want to see. There’s plenty of places that would welcome teamplay, cooperation, and new friendships!

I'm working on a "Myth Busters" type of video for next week and where I'll go over some common wisdoms, sayings, and superstitions to see if they are true or not. For example, "Helldivers has i-frames when diving". But I wanted to make sure I cover as many fun and interesting myths as I can, so y'all let me know if there's anything you want Busted or Confirmed as a myth in Helldivers 2. So far I've got about 8 Myths I want to fact check with the Ministry of Truth.


*PS: There are no i-frames in helldivers. We sacrificed many of my..."Best" soldiers confirming this.

The rupture bugs have been disabled, YouTube and Reddit are on fire with talks about balance and the future of the game, and in the middle of all of this…I’ve managed to hit 100,000 subscribers. Finally! I can liberate YouTube of my Silver Play button! I think I’ll mount it on my wall above Veera.



To celebrate this achievement and to thank all of you for your support, I’ll be doing a Q&A video based on the responses to this post. Ask me anything you’d like, send me your hate mail, or give me your best haiku about your favorite gun and I’ll respond to them in true Commissariat fashion. My “best” subordinates will comb through your responses and I’ll make the video responding to them.



Taking my hat off for a second, I sincerely thank y’all for all of your support. When I started a year and a half ago, I never dreamed of reaching these heights. I LOVE what I do. Sharing the joy I have playing this game, making so many new friends, and teaching helldivers everywhere new and creative ways to recycle the enemies of humanity into something more useful is a dream come true. Things can only go up from here, and I’m looking forward to changing the face of the galaxy with y’all one stupid joke at a time iO.
