Mary Wilson –The Official Channel

Mary Wilson: Legendary Recording Artist, Best-selling Author, Music Rights Activist, Goodwill Ambassador.

For Mary Wilson, what started in Detroit back in the early 1960s as a founding teenage member of Motown’s super girl-group The Supremes led to a career spanning more than 55 years.

The Supremes reigned as the top female recording artists in the world, knocking the Beatles off the charts more than once. When Diana Ross turned to a solo career in 1970, Mary went on to lead The Supremes until the group disbanded in 1977. In 1988, The Supremes were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

While Mary continued her career as a recording artist and worldwide performer, she found time to write two New York Times best-selling books: “Dreamgirl: My Life as a Supreme” (1986) and “Supreme Faith: Someday We’ll Be Together” (1990). In “Supreme Glamour” (2019), Mary captures in words and pictures the glamorous sophistication and elegance The Supremes embodied.
