In this channel you will be able to see videos of tutorials about 3D modeling, lighting and rendering in 3ds Max, Marvelous Designer, ZBrush, 3D Coat, Photoshop and a few others.
Most of the videos that you will see here will probably be published over at www.dkcgi.net so feel free and check out the posts there as well.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to all of you beautiful and wonderful people reading this. May this year bring you the patience that one needs in order to learn proper 3D modeling and rendering, the clarity so you can focus on the details to make your work look amazing and last but not least the joy that we all get when we finish a project we have been working on.
Use this time and spend it with family and friends and try not to stress too much over work.
Best Wishes

Hey everyone i'm making this post to give a small clarification to the reason why there haven't been any new videos in a while and also i've had quite a few mails and direct messages asking this question.
The reason is simple, for the last almost 2 months i've had to tend to a family health affair which basically keeps me away from the computer like 80% of the time, and the rest of the 20% when i can sit down in front of the PC i don't really have the energy to do any recording. So as soon as this situation gets better and i can get back to my usual day to day activities, i'll also start posting videos again. But until then, everyone keep safe, healthy and keep improving yourself.

Ok so the votes are in for Week 1 of the modeling challenge, Option 1 and 2 were in race but Option 1 won so that will be the official model for this week. If you like the option 2 feel free and go for that one. Once you have your version come and post it in the discord channel and by the end of the week i'll try and make them both into tutorials on the YouTube channel.
So come in and join the challenge, and most importantly have fun while doing it.

So here we go for the first weekly run. These are the four models we had people drop as possible topics and once we choose which one we will take on if you want to be part of the group you will have to come up with your own model and post it in the Discord channel. At the end of the week i will create a video about that model, and we will choose a model for the next week.
So cast your votes in the poll ( the other post as i can't make a image + poll in the same post ) and also if you want to pitch in an idea join in on the discord channel and leave a reference image there.
Have fun everyone.

Hey everybody i hope you are having a good day. Last few posts here from me were all about doom and gloom and crap happening so i really hope that was the last time i have to post stuff like that. Now having said that i while back i asked everyone if they would like to be part of a weekly modeling challenge, and to my surprise 94% said they would like to join in.
Well today is the day we start with that idea. In order to join in with an idea or check what has been posted jump in the Discord server and there you will see a new group called Weekly-Challenge. Once there all you have to do is leave a reference image for whatever you might want to see and the most interesting of the choices will be taken up as a weekly topic. Then we can all get around and talk about how you made that model, and the most interesting approach will be made into a tutorial for everyone.
I really hope that a large number of you jump in and we make this thing a fun and learning experience.

Well here is another update:
As i already explained in my last post two weeks ago i had my Hard Drive die and take with it about 10 years worth of files with it. I went out and bought a new drive and decided to stop moping around and move on. Well just to be sure that it doesn't happen again i decided to purchase one more disk and change my other Hard Drive as well.
Yesterday when i got the new drive, while installing it the SSD decided to get corrupted and this time around take my Operating System with it. This only meant that i actually had a serious issue with my PC's power supply as it didn't deliver a stable power output and that was the reason for the bad luck streak with the hard drives.
In any case, i bought a new power supply, bought new drives and everything is put together and working. So now i need to reinstall all the software that i use, as well as all the video editing software and then i will finally be ready to continue making new content for the channel.
So now everyone knows why exactly there hasn't been any new videos from me in a while.
P.S. 2020 Sucks in more ways then one ....

Ok so as a guy who doesn't belive in religion or curses or any of that mumbo jumbo stuff, i'm really starting to think i may be wrong as it is otherwise impossible. I've had my disk die on me when i was recording the Vray course so i had to re record it, i had a mishap where i deleted my files when recording the Rigging course so i had to redo it, and now BOOM again my other disk dies that i had my re recorded videos put on.
Anyways i may as well start with religion and praying that someone might be able to retrieve my files as that disk happens to hold most of my textures, models and scenes i've worked on through the years.
So this post is basically me venting my frustration .....

Well here i am writing this at 2AM since this is the perfect place to vent. If there is a medal for stupidity i should win one as i managed to delete 5 videos that were recorded, edited and rendered by mistake. Anyways i'll have to redo the recording again so at least i now have the concept about it. Just a heads up for what is coming up, and what i have been working on for the last 2 weeks.
I am making a course on Mechanical Rigging in 3ds Max. I will put this course on Gumroad and i will make it FREE so anyone can access it along with the files that i will use in it. All the video lessons will be available on YouTube as well so you don't have to worry about that. Anyhow you guys now know what i'm working on so i wanted to ask your opinion on how i should upload the videos ?

Would you guys be interested in making a weekly challenge where we all get to choose a model and then go and show how we approached making it. We can post our results on the Discord and the best case and workflow would be made into a tutorial. ( This would mean that YOU the readers of this would actually have to model something :)
