In Québec, we have a saying that says – Y'a juste les fous qui changent pas d'idée. Which could translate to – Only crazy people never change their mind. I've chosen to revert the channel name to Pur Pasteur, feeling like this is a more wholesome representation of who I am, and that the most fertile ground for content , in my case, is this sweet and productive tension between art and education. I am, at heart, both an artist and an educator. I want to be able to talk about my music on this channel, because it is a central part who I am. I have so much unreleased music coming up that I'm super excited to share, dissect, and analyse, with you. The Music Maps Project is still very much alive, and I will share some exciting news soon about how you can support it and enjoy early features. Thank you for sticking around through the back and forth and the soul searching. New video on chord gradients (what even is this?!) coming up next week. Peace!
Working on a video about everything that's annoying/archaic/inefficient/makes no sense, regarding traditional music notation. What's your worse nightmare on sheet music??
Just letting you know that Pur Pasteur is becoming the ⚛ Music Maps Project ⚛ ! No major changes to the direction of the channel, just a cleaner separation of my pedagogical and creative endeavors. You can sub again to Pur Pasteur if you want to keep following my music. After a bit of a summer break, we have some cool videos lined up in the fall. Also, i owe you an explanantion of what IS the music maps project... for now, i'll just leave this here. Much love and see you soon.
Asking for your help again. My next video will be on modulation, or key changes. When you think of a great key change that hits you real hard, what comes to mind? I'd like to get a variety of examples for different genres of music. Thanks a bunch

Hey people ! Never been too much of a Discord fan so, pretty happy with this new YouTube feature. Here’s a place where y’all can :
- discuss new music theory ideas
- suggest video concepts
- talk about music
- inquire into the meaninglessness of existence
Let’s try to keep this nice and cosy, respectful of everyone’s ideas.
Peace!

Considering changing the channel name to Music Maps and splitting the pedagogical channel from my creative work as Pur Pasteur. What do you think?
