Today I’m sharing this message because living with HIV does not mean declining health.

My labs show significant improvement.
Why? Because HIV is treatable, manageable, and not a death sentence.

📌 HIV FACTS:
• People living with HIV who stay on medication can live long, healthy lives
• When viral load is undetectable, HIV cannot be transmitted (U=U)
• HIV treatment today is often 1 pill a day
• Improvement is measurable, trackable, and real

Living with HIV requires discipline, consistency, and self-love… not shame.

Let’s Talk Facts, Not Fear: HIV Edition

HIV is one of the most misunderstood medical conditions… and stigma thrives where education is missing. So here are a few truths:

🧠 HIV is not a death sentence.
With proper treatment, people living with HIV can live long, healthy lives.

💊 Medication works.
Daily treatment can reduce HIV to an undetectable level, which means the virus cannot be sexually transmitted.
Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U).

🧬 HIV is a virus, not a character flaw.
It has nothing to do with morals, worth, or who someone is as a person.

🤝🏽 You cannot get HIV through casual contact.
Not from hugs, sharing food, sitting next to someone, or being in the same room.

❤️ People living with HIV are parents, partners, professionals, and leaders.
We are not a diagnosis… we are people.

Education saves lives.
Compassion changes them.
