We're gearing up for an exciting Fall and Winter. The video contest is roaring along. We'll be releasing the 2023 Chapbook Contest winner during the 2024 Chapbook contest (our fastest ever) and last but not least we'll be releasing Neil Hilborn's third book, About Time this November.
He'll be popping in tonight to do a little teaser and read a few poems from the book! Come check it out.

Updates! We just wrapped up judging the 2023 Video Contest. This year, in part because y'all asked, we adjusted the judging system and created feedback forms for finalists. The forms are filled out by the judges then given to the top poets in the contest and are designed to allow finalists in the Video Contest to get a better idea of what judges thought of their work.
We'll be including a similar system in our chapbook contest (open now! buttonpoetry.com/chapbook-contest/ ) and with any luck expanding it to more of our submitters next year.
We'll have release dates for the 2023 Video Contest available shortly, for now, check out this video from the 2022 Video Contest!

Hi again,
My name is Sam Van Cook and I founded Button Poetry. I'm going to be using this space and a few other to try and get a feel for what our fans and supporters would like button do with platforms like YouTube moving forward.
We're going to keep sharing poems (obviously) but I'd like to see if we can't find a way to give back to y'all in some new or exciting ways.
